Our church was planted out of the original Assemblies of God church in nearby Berri during the mid 1980s. As with many other church plants who share humble beginnings we experienced slow growth as the church began to establish itself in the community.
The 1990s saw the arrival of Pastors Vic and Robyn Cinc who for the next 17 years led the church through a period of consolidation and growth as ‘Renmark Paringa Christian Life Centre’. This rewarding time saw entire families come to faith – several whom remain active and involved in the church today! The Pastors Cinc also ran an accredited Bible college course, causing many to gain ministry qualifications and serve in church leadership. Missions were established as a hallmark during this time as the church joined in supporting other Christian ministries and outreaches, something that continues to this day.
2015 began an exciting new season for the church with the arrival of Pastor Terry and Samantha Prider. With a new name, Victorious Church, we re-launched in August 2015 with a major emphasis on ‘our community’ and changing things up with new café church and cinema church services – among other adventures! At the beginning of 2016, the church was blessed with the gift of property and finances to renovate it and permanently establish the church in its own ‘home’. With this chapter only just beginning, why not come and be part of writing it with us?
